(4) Statement of Intent to File Public Utility District No.1 of Snohomish County of Everett, Washington, states its intention to file an application for a new license for the unconstructed, 30.0 megawatt, run-of-the-river, Sunset Fish Passage and Energy Project, FERC Project No. 14295. The District will utilize the Commission's Integrated Licensing Process to develop the license application. (5) Principal Project Works No existing hydropower project works currently exist at the site. The proposed principal project works would consist of the following: 1. Weir - a pneumatically controlled weir consisting of steel plates and an inflatable rubber bladder that can inflate/deflate based on instream flow 11. Impoundment - a 2-surface acre area immediately upstream of weir, at pool elevation 650 feet msl (when the weir is inflated) 111. Intake - in a cavern with gate, trashrack, fish screens,.and downstream fish passage IV. Tunne1- underground, 2,200-foot long by 19.5-foot diameter, unlined v. Powerhouse - a semi-buried facility housing twin 15.0 MW turbines for a total installed nameplate capacity of 30.0 MW VI. Transmission - an approximate 8.5-mile long, 115kV transmission line that closely follows the existing distribution line corridor to the existing substation in Gold Bar, Washington (6) Project Location State: Washington County: Snohomish Stream: South Fork Skykomish River (between River Mile 52.7 and 51.6) Nearby City: Index (7) Installed Plant Capacity The proposed installed plant capacity would be 30.0 megawatts.
