FINANCIAL REPORT The trend in 2012 is the most positive in financial performance since the economic crisis started Largely due to steps from the Business Improvement Project Membership income exceeded the budget by 4%, reversing the declining trend of recent years Membership income is expected to grow further in 2013 due to: - new membership development officer hired in 2012 - increased focus on retention of existing members Higher results from activities is largely due to strategic focus on conferences and new format, expert seminars (outcome of Business Improvement Project)
FINANCIAL REPORT The overall level of costs is a little above budget reflecting the increased activities compared to budget (events, conferences) Salaries are higher than budget due to unbudgeted staff bonuses and the new position of business development officer The fee for the Business Improvement Project and the Strategic Plan was agreed to be covered from reserves if needed due to the long term nature of the projects The financials presented here have been reviewed by the auditors, BMB Leitner.
