The SDSU Sophomore Success Program is an immersive full-service academic and student life support initiative tailored to second year students who are from outside of the SDSU service area. * Why is the Program being implemented? SDSU wants to become a top 50 public institution; SDSU wants to increase the graduation rates to get above 80 percent of retention and graduation; Statistics show that students who live on campus after their first year have a higher success rate. How is the Program being implemented? By focusing time and dedication on the sophomores who need the most help; Second year students required to live on campus. When is the Program being implemented? Beginning with the 2017 freshmen class of Guardian Scholar, Nursing, Honors College, out-of-state and international students, and student Up until this point, sophomores will NOT be able to live in their sorority houses! athletes living on campus the following year; Full implementation to all second-year, nonlocal students, in the fall of 2019. * http://newscenter.sdsu.edu/sophomore-success/ 2

She takes her position seriously and enjoys what she does. She did a great job making the actives prepared and ready for recruitment during Polish Week over the summer. She made the chapter relaxed and confident since most of their actives are brand new to the recruitment process. She also encourages Panhellenic Love and even if a new member does not fit for their chapter she is willing to help the girl find her perfect fit. On top of that, Andrea is overseeing Continuous Open Bidding.
