Instructions for Scholarship Application (Deutschlandstipendium) Winter Term 2017/2018 Please complete the application form correctly. Either use the pdf-form or print it out and fill it in handwriting using block letters. Sign the form, scan it and combine the form with other documents you need to submit (certificate of enrollment etc) into one pdf-file of 8 MB max. The file name to comprise your last name and first name (e.g. Mueller_Maria.pdf or Fluss_Jens-Ole.pdf). Please email the completed form to deutschlandstipendium@uni-kassel.de, giving as subject Deutschlandstipendium: Bewerbung". Deadline: November 5, 2017 Please note: - This is just an informal translation. The only legally valid forms are the German versions of the call for applications as well as the application form itself. - Only properly completed applications received in due time will be considered in the selection process. - International applicants have to hand in copies of certificates either in German or in English. - Applications via regular postal services are not accepted. - Applications received will be acknowledged by email. - Closing date for applications: Sunday, November 5th 2017, midnight Include the following documents with your application form: Curriculum Vitae (no photograph needed), Copy of University entrance certificate (like Abitur, High school/college degree or comparative) and your uni-assist-document Current certificate of enrollment (Please do not send a copy of the local Kultur- or Semesterticket!), If you are in your Second semester or above: Copy of your exam results (a simple HISPOS-extract will suffice) If you are in a master program, copy of your transcript of records and your diploma supplement, if available with attachment ECTS-assessment scale. You may also add proof of your participation in extra-curricular activities, community service, your current personal, social or family situation. Data Privacy declaration I hereby agree expressly, voluntarily and revocably: 1. that my personal data will be used by the University of Kassel for the Deutschlandstipendium selection process and in case I am awarded a scholarship it will be used for granting the scholarship 2. that in case I am awarded a scholarship my personal data has to be stored. If my application is not successful, my personal data will be deleted completely on May 01, 2018. Please note: You consent voluntarily to this data protection declaration. In case of your refusal or revocation, however, this may lead to exclusion from the scholarship selection process or to the end of financial support as awarded by Deutschlandstipendium. O I am aware, that 3. my personal data is used and processed by the relevant authorities of the University of Kassel for selection of applicants and if the case for granting of the scholarship. A transfer of my data to third parties and/or commercial use of my data will not take place. 4. in case the scholarship is awarded, the following personal information according to 13 Abs. 2 Nr. 1 StipG (law of the scholarship program) are passed on to Hessisches Statistisches Landesamt: Gender, nationality, intended degree, university, subject, number of university semesters, number of subject semester, number of months of support and whether you receive BAföG. 5. by an email to deutschlandstipendium@uni-kassel.de I can revoke anytime my agreement to the use of my personal data by the University of Kassel. 6. revocation of my agreement is followed by the complete deletion of all my data provided for University of Kassel/Deutschlandstipendium but may also result in the exclusion from or termination of the scholarship grant.
