Erasmus: starting points 1987 start of Erasmus programme : exchanges of students within Europe Since 1987 different programmes adding up to Erasmus 2007: possibility to exchange students for internships 2014 : Erasmus+ AIM: bring together all current EU and international schemes for education, training, youth and sport, replacing the existing programmes with one increase efficiency make it easier to apply for grants reduce duplication and fragmentation

Impact of the partnership(s) in the region Examples: 5 Consortia meeting of the Call 35/08 2009: China Lot 14 Joint Workshop on Academic Recognition and Credit Transfer (Nov. 2014) in Cambodia Other projects : Tuning, EGRACONS, Heion, testimonials impact/benefits of mobility on employability workshops : expertise on specific matters e.g. Tuning associate in Lotus talked about credit transfer in general & China Tuning project during the 5 Consortia meeting in Beijing.

Sustainability Outputs can be maintained after the project has ended: Address sustainability at 3 levels: financially (staff, fees or other revenues, possibly from industry etc.) institutionally (accreditation, official approval within university etc.) at policy level (impact on legislation, procedures etc.) Ensure that a sufficient number of staff is trained and that the training is sufficiently long to enable them to have an impact.
