What is the Military and Family Life Counseling Program? ü Provides free, confidential non-medical counseling for service members, their families and survivors personal records are not kept ü Provides psycho-educational briefings and presentations ü Augments existing military support services ü Provides services on or off of military installations Military and Family Life Counseling Program - 2)

Who are military and family life counselors and what do they do? ü Master s or doctorate-level licensed counselors ü Work with families, individuals, couples and children ü Work with existing military and family support programs to augment other services provided Military and Family Life Counseling Program - 3)

Who is eligible for Military and Family Life Counseling services? ü Active duty service members ü National Guard members ü Reserve members (regardless of activation status) ü Department of Defense civilian expeditionary workforce members ü Immediate family members or surviving family members of any of the above groups.
