solutions sheet Tunstall telehealth solutions The combination of Tunstall RTX3370 and RTX3371 telehealth monitors and CSO/Telehealth TM software provides an extremely well designed and flexible solution to meet the requirements of remote health monitoring as patients needs change and as remote monitoring services are expanded. The overall solution enables the reliable collection and secure transmission of a patient s vital signs and related health information improving communication across the points of care in a patient s pathway. The data is accessed securely by health professionals in order for them to make informed decisions about patients health and well-being. The solution is designed to support those living with single or multiple long term conditions, including Chronic Heart Failure (CHF), Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), diabetes, and hypertension, to help them continue living independently and better understand their health care, and therefore improve their health and lifestyle. Tunstall RTX3370 telehealth monitor Tunstall RTX3370 and RTX3371 telehealth monitors are designed to be extremely patient friendly and are compatible with a wide selection of medical devices, offering flexibility and choice to patients and professionals. Common devices include weighing scales, blood pressure monitors, blood glucose monitors and peak flow meters connecting via wired or wireless (Bluetooth) technology. Tunstall RTX3371 telehealth monitor

Telehealth monitors - sharing health information from the home How do they work? Each day, typically at a pre-set time, the Tunstall RTX3370 and RTX3371 telehealth monitors alert the user that it is time to take their vital signs measurements. The monitor then guides the patient, using its clear text display and audio announcements, through a series of measurements and health related questions that have been tailored by their health professional to meet their individual monitoring needs. The patient takes each vital sign measurement in turn using the appropriate medical device and interacts by simply pressing the buttons underneath the screen. Depending upon the answers provided, the monitor then asks them additional questions therefore providing the clinician with detailed and personalised feedback. The patient's health information is then automatically sent to the CSO/Telehealth TM software for review by the healthcare team. If the user fails to send data, or if any of their information falls outside pre-set parameters, the system provides clear alerts on the triage screen of the CSO/Telehealth TM software for immediate investigation. Significant issues can be escalated to clinical teams, and email and SMS alerts can also be provided. Tunstall RTX3370 and RTX3371 telehealth monitors There are two telehealth monitors available, both monitors provide an advanced range of features. The RTX3370 provides communication to the remote CSO/Telehealth software using a standard telephone connection whilst the RTX3371 is more portable and uses a mobile network (GPRS) connection to communicate to the software. Key features of the telehealth monitors Large colour display - presents the user with clear text and visual messages with variable text size option Large soft touch buttons - easy to press buttons ensure all users can interact with the monitor Multiple inputs - Bluetooth, serial cable and Infrared Clear loudspeaker - audio announcements guide the patient and supports its use for visually impaired people Flexible communication - via normal telephone line or mobile network (GPRS) Flexible and easy to use - the monitors can be tailored to meet the needs of patients and clinicians, for example: Vital sign sessions - the monitor can be configured to collect vital signs measurements that are specific to patient needs. Symptom questions - the questions the monitor asks each patient can be tailored to their specific condition. Language support - the monitors can support a wide range of different languages and local dialects where needed. Screen - text displayed on the screen can be increased in size to suit the patient. Customisable patient self care advice and reminders - the monitors can be used to provide the user with simple self care support using both a text and audio prompt at pre-set times of day.

Telehealth monitors - sharing health information from the home Intelligent symptom questions - the monitors can be configured to ask symptomatic questions and intelligently ask additional questions depending upon the answers given. This provides valuable focused information to the healthcare team and helps them to understand any changes in vital signs measurements. Example Question Session Your weight is: 83kg Above target weight Below target weight Do you feel short of breath? Do you use an extra pillow at night? Have you been exercising? Are your legs swollen? Your data is transmitted Clinician We really liked that we could have the monitor with the disease questions that we wanted and in our order For more information on Tunstall telehealth monitors or how they can be tailored to your specific needs, please contact your Tunstall Telehealth Account Manager on 01977 660543.

Tunstall CSO/Telehealth software What is Tunstall CSO/Telehealth TM software? The Tunstall CSO/Telehealth TM software (Clinical System Organiser) has been developed in partnership with IntraMed. It is a proven solution specifically developed to support providers of home telehealth monitoring services. Its advanced features support the telehealth provider to offer an effective and efficient service to their patients from a remote setting whilst ensuring patient data security and confidentiality is maintained at all times. Tunstall CSO/Telehealth TM software offers the health team vital information at their finger tips and is designed to be simple and easy to use with clear presentation of data and automated support for triage of patients to ensure those requiring the most support can be handled effectively and efficiently. Patient triage screen Key features of the software Localised configuration - Tunstall CSO/Telehealth TM software allows the service provider to configure the software to suit their local needs. User friendly - the user interface is built to minimise the number of mouse clicks required to view the required information. Screen layouts are consistent to support the user to quickly learn its capabilities. Clear and simple alerts - the triage screen automatically organises patients by the severity of alerts to support prioritisation of the care team s case load. The triage screen uses colours and icons to highlight vital signs measurements and question answers that are abnormal, such as vital signs outside of set limits or missed patient sessions. Graphical displays of health data - a patient s vital signs measurements are presented in graphical formats to help trend analysis. Other features include: Patient portal SMS/Email alerts Customisable report generator Detailed audit trail Equipment inventory Patient overview screen
