Your trainers Piers Hodgson Piers has an extensive career in business and real estate. He owned a number of businesses in Australia and in the United Kingdom before he pursued a career in the real estate industry. Growing up, Piers aspired to be an estate agent, a role that was seen as a very honorable profession in England. In 1988 he commenced his first role in the real estate industry as a sales agent for Town and Country Real Estate. The agency, which was part of an 80 office franchise group, became the platform to launch Piers career. Within three years of working as a sales agent he became the leading auctioneer across the franchise group and was also named auctioneer of the year. In 1994 Piers joined First National Real Estate where he worked as a sales agent and auctioneer. In his time at First National Real Estate he was the number one rural sales person in Australia, selling more properties and earning more commission than any other agent in the 600 strong franchise group. In 1997 Piers opened his own agency, Ray White, where he was the principal and licensee. In 2003 Piers felt a strong desire to train people in real estate to be the best they could be. Around the same time Piers met Rod Hattch, Wisdom s CEO, who wanted to expand the businesses training services into real estate. Since 2003, Piers has delivered over hundreds of CPD Workshops and Certificate IV qualifications, and he continues to impress all of Wisdom s real estate participants.

Nicole Bush Nicole has always had a passion for customer service, particularly in real estate where she enjoyed helping people look after their most prized possessions. She initially managed her own properties and assisted family who worked in the real estate industry. In 1994 she turned her interest into a full time career where she commenced working with Reg Daly Civic (now Independent Property Group) as a property manager. Showing great initiative and customer service she quickly grew her property portfolio. She was soon promoted to manager of the property management team comprising 35 staff and a portfolio of over 2000 properties. During her time at Reg Daly Civic, Nicole also became a licensed agent. As a licensed agent, Nicole then joined a lending institution where she was responsible for setting up a real estate agency. She successfully set up the agency and managed it for 5 years before starting her own Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Nicole delivered training primarily in hospitality, before forging a partnership with Wisdom to deliver real estate training, specifically property management. Since joining Wisdom in 2013 Nicole has supported participants to achieve their career and learning goals and has been a consistent mentor and information resource to apprentices.
