2017 Creighton Level III Boot Camp Instructors Darren Lee, CFA, FRM, CPA, CA Darren operates his own consulting practice in Toronto, dealing primarily with finance and tax solutions for both corporate and personal clients. He was formerly a tax manager with KPMG, an auditor with Deloitte, and an account manager at the Royal Bank of Canada. Darren has extensive experience in lecturing and grading activities relating to professional finance and accounting programs. He has taught for Kaplan Schweser since 2004 and currently manages and teaches in the Schweser weekly CFA exam preparatory course in Toronto, as well as authoring/editing their FRM study materials. Darren has also taught courses for the University of Toronto and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. In addition to these activities, Darren maintains part-time careers as a real estate broker and a concert pianist. An avid runner, he has completed several marathons around the world, including Berlin, London, Paris, Boston, Chicago, Houston, and Fukuoka. Darren graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Randy D. Jorgensen, Ph.D., CFA Dr. Jorgensen is a Professor of Finance and Director of the Master of Investment Management and Financial Analysis program at Creighton University. Dr. Jorgensen has taught classes in all three of Creighton s CFA review courses over a number of years. His teaching in the MIMFA program includes portfolio management, fixed income, derivatives, quantitative analysis, and ethics. Most recently, he has developed and teaches MIM 740 which covers approximately forty-percent of the CFA Level III material. He has published a number of articles in various refereed academic and professional journals. Dr. Jorgensen received his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri in 1994 and earned his CFA designation in 2004. Prior to his career in academics, he was a bank examiner and a commercial loan officer. of Melissa Woodley, Ph.D., CFA Dr. Woodley is an Assistant Professor of finance at Creighton University. She teaches Fixed Income and Derivatives in Creighton s MIMFA program and review programs. Most recently, she developed and teaches MIM 739 which covers approximately fortypercent of the CFA Level III material, focusing predominately on the fixed income and derivatives material. Prior to joining Creighton s faculty in 2012, she taught at Samford University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has published articles in journals including the Journal of Applied Finance, the Journal of Trading, and the Journal of Accounting and Finance. Dr. Woodley earned a PhD in finance from the University of Alabama in 2007 and became a CFA charterholder in 2012.

Dr. Braymen joined Creighton in 2011 and teaches Economics of Investment Analysis in Creighton s MIMFA program. Dr. Braymen's research and teaching focuses extensively on international economics making him particularly well-equipped to deliver this material in Creighton's CFA review programs. Prior to joining Creighton, Dr. Braymen taught at Kansas State University for four years. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of North Carolina. He worked at Ameritrade (now TDAmeritrade) and Ameriprise Financial before his academic career. He earned his CFA designation in 2011. 2017 Creighton Boot Camp Level III April 27-30 Minor adjustments to the initial time blocks by the instructor should be expected. 15-minute breaks are scheduled at approximately 10:15 AM, 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. 60-minute lunch breaks are scheduled for 12:15 PM.
