Want to raise money for WWF but don t know how? Start here for inspiration! Instead of asking for presents, ask family and friends to donate to your Panda Nation page to commemorate your birthday, wedding, bar/bat mitzvah, anniversary, or graduation. Need an excuse to get the gang together? Host a cocktail party, casino night, movie showing or cookout and charge a cover. Panda Tip: For birthdays, suggest that they donate your age in dollars, such as $21 for your 21st birthday. Time to stretch your legs! Run, walk, or bike in a local race and raise money for WWF throughout your training efforts. Or, host a dance-a-thon or dodgeball tournament. Have each student in your class create a Panda Nation page with his or her favorite species or place as a theme. Hold a can and bottle drive with your students. Have them go door-to-door to collect recyclables from neighbors and family members. Donate the refund money to WWF. Host a used book drive Ask students to collect and sell used books and to donate the proceeds to WWF. Share information about WWF so people will know where the money is going. Make a cookbook Ask students to share their favorite recipes. Put together a cookbook and sell it to raise extra money for WWF. Art Show Have students or your children produce great works of art depicting species and wildlife and present them in an art show. Parents and friends can buy the artwork to support WWF. Car Wash Get your team together for a local town car wash. This works great for elementary and high school students. Host a Pennies for Panda Nation drive and ask students to collect coins and change found in their homes to support wildlife and conservation. 3 PANDA NATION FUNDRAISING TOOLKIT

Double or triple your donation! Ask your organization to match the funds you raise. Panda Tip: Learn how to take Cultivate some friendly office competition. Host a advantage of your company s gift corporate softball game or an office Olympics! matching program here. Organize a Dress-Down Day and ask for donations in order to participate. There s nothing like pancakes in the office! Host a pancake breakfast to serve in the breakroom and ask coworkers to donate before filling their plates. Foster some friendly competition! Challenge each of the departments in your company to a WWF fundraising competition to earn group bragging rights. 4 PANDA NATION FUNDRAISING TOOLKIT

Use social media to build hype around your campaign and to maintain momentum. Post about your fundraising efforts frequently on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and encourage friends and family to get involved. Post like a pro Mix up your posts so they don t feel too repetitive. Share a fun fact about your favorite animal, your fundraising progress, and a conservation tip for people to help make a difference. Use hashtags When posting about your page on social media, use the #pandanation hashtag. Tag us at @world_wildlife to keep us in the loop! Create a Facebook event If you re hosting a fundraising event, create a Facebook event to promote it and remember to link back to your fundraising page. Tag your donors Tag your donors when thanking them on social media to give them credit and to remind others that haven t donated yet. Follow WWF on your favorite social network Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. WWF is the world s largest conservation organization. We work in more than 100 countries to protect endangered species and critical habitats. Our mission is to conserve nature and reduce the most pressing threats to the diversity of life on Earth. We organize our work around these six ambitious goals: Create a climate-resilient and zero carbon world, powered by renewable energy. Double net food availability; freeze its footprint. Conserve the world s most important forests. Safeguard healthy oceans and marine livelihoods. Secure water for people and nature.
