High School Senior Application Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, in partnership with Zeta Tau Zeta White Rose Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce The Diamond Dove Achievement Awards. Scholarships are given in honor of members of the chapter who have dedicated fifty or more years of service to the Sorority. Awards will be presented to eligible graduating African-American female high school seniors and eligible past recipients in the Chicago area. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded on January 16, 1920 at Howard University in Washington, D.C. The illustrious founders, known as the Five Pearls, are Arizona Cleaver Stemons, Myrtle Tyler Faithful, Viola Tyler Goings, Fannie Pettie Watts and Pearl Anna Neal. To guide Zeta, the Pearls adopted a legacy bound by four principles: Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love and Finer Womanhood. The organization now consists of women who are undergraduate students and college graduates, seeking to positively impact the community and improve the lives of others. Scholarship recipients must be able to attend the Zeta Tau Zeta Finer Womanhood Scholarship and Awards Luncheon on Saturday, March 31, 2012, 12:00pm-4:00pm at the Tinley Park Convention Center, 18451 Convention Center Drive, Tinley Park, IL. The Scholarship Committee will interview candidates on Saturday, February 11, 2012. Awardees will each receive one complimentary ticket to the luncheon.
