At the XIV-th International Symposium "Atmospheric and Ocean Optics, Atmospheric physics", Buryatiya, Russia, in June 24-29, it was invited Prof. Georg Witt from Stockholm University presented the lecture Bi-Static Lidar Sounding of Layered Clouds in The Arctic Troposphere and Stratosphere. SPIE Visiting Lecturer Program was supported this talk.

2. Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Zuev gave the lecture Stratospheric ozone layer: state-of-the-art of researches At the meeting were also invited post-graduate students and research workers. 3. It was organized the scientific meeting devoted a discussion of annual work of young institute staff. In the final part of the meeting the president of SPIE Student Chapter Kolotkov Gennady presented a report about work of the chapter and called to join the SPIE Student Chapter IAO SB RAS.
