1 MANUAL: 1 RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT-2005 SECTION 4(i)(b) ICDS, BOUDH Particulars of Organisation, Function and Duties. 1. Aims and Objectives of the Organisation (ICDS, Boudh). The ICDS, Boudh is implemented in the year 1992-93 with the objective to bring sustainable change in physical, mental, psychological, social, health and education of the Child 0 month to 6 yrs and P.W and Nursing mothers. It provides services to 123012 populations of 403 villages through 176 AWCS. OBJECTIVES: Reduce IMR & MMR Reduction of Malnutrition To educate mothers about Nutrition and health, Education Reduce School dropout & all round development of children. Coordination with all departments.

2 MANUAL: 2 ORGANISATION: CDPO: - Over all charges of ICDS activities of ICDS, Boudh and responsible for interaction with the district and state govt. She is in charge of establishment and drawing & disbursing officer of ICDS staff. She is to make 20 days intensive tour in project area. During visit She will check the stock register of SNP foodstuff, Preschool activities, immunization, Growth monitoring, infant death activities of WSHG & MDM.She also conducted home visits at the time of tour to AWC area. LADY SUPERVISORS- (10 Post)(At Present working Post-07) The Lady Supervisors shall be over all charge of all matters implemented in her section area. She is responsible for functioning of AWC in her sector area. She will ensure the foodstuff issued from project godown to AWC and distributed to the allocated beneficiaries such as PW, NM, Children 6 months to 6 yrs through AWC. The following functions implemented in AWC. Cover of immunization to all children Keep good relations with the public Monitor the activities of AW on Pre School, Mahila sabha, NHED, Home visits, formation of SHG & improvement by SHG in different programme. Measurement of weighment of children. She is to make 20 days intensive tour in her sector area & during her visit She will monitor all the ICDS activities implemented in AWC.She is responsible for collet of MPR of each activities from AWC & reported to CDPO. AWW: 176 Posts The AWW shall be over all charges of all matters implemented in AWC.She is responsible for functioning of AWC.She is to make the following works in AWC. 1. Conduct of pre school education to the children of age group 3 years- 6 years. 2. Ensure about distribution of foodstuff to the children AW, ANM in the village. 3. Assisted to health deptt. for fully coverage of immunization. 4. Conducted Mahila Sabha

3 5. Conducted NHED during the month. 6. Conducted home visits. 7. Weighment of Child. 8. Submit the MPR to supervisor. 9. Submitted joint report on infant death. 10. Distributed medicines for the needy. Childrens & mothers. 11. Refer to the malnutrition children. AW HELPERS; 176 Posts The AW helper over all assists to the AWW in each & every AWC concerned works. She accompany to the Preschool Children as the time of joining & leaving the AWC.She cleans the School building. She cooks & services the nutrition food to the children & make clean to the children. S.A;01 Post He will prepare the project report on each scheme. He will provide all relevant information on the implementation of different programmes through ICDS to the CDPO.He will deal with the stock of SNP food Stuff with the records of issue, receive and all other files assigned to ICDS programme.he will ensure any other work as and when assisted by CDPO. Jr.ACCOUNTANT:01 post Deal with different files assigned to maintenance of service book preparation of bills, maintenance of accounts, cash book all other establishment files. Jr.CLERK;01 Post (Now vacant) He will deal with the files assigned to him. Also in charge of issue, receive and maintenance of postage stamps. DRIVER:01 Post The Driver will be care of the vehicle & drive the vehicle as per the order of the officer in charge of the vehicle. He is responsible for maintenance of vehicle logbook and POL.Account. PEON:01 Post To carry files seat to seat and to the officers and assist the staff the officers in office work. He is also required to attend the bell call and distribution of local daks as and when necessary.

4 WATCH MAN:01 Post He will watch the office beyond the office hours. He will keep office premises neat and clean.
