Topic CanExport: A five-year (2015-19), $50-million GoC program that provides financial assistance to SMEs Criteria Eligible Applicants $200,000 - $50M in annual revenue 1 250 FT employees Be an incorporated legal entity or an LLP Have a CRA business number No current/active CanExport projects Eligible Activities Promote international business development and must go beyond the applicant s core activities These activities could include: Business travel, Trade Fairs, Market research, marketing tools for a new market and Legal fees associated with a distribution/representation agreement New markets only (cannot have had sales in-market in last 24 mos) Funding Support Reimburses up to 50% of eligible expenses (max. $99,999) Applicant must match funds on a one-to-one basis Applicants can only have one active application open at a time
