organizational overview Established in Austin in 1958, Goodwill is the longest standing workforce not-for-profit agency in Central Texas. We are changing the Central Texas employment and education landscape. Some accomplishments of our award-winning programs in 2015 include: 72 HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMAS awarded by The Goodwill Excel Center, the first and only free high school in the state of Texas that can award a high school diploma to adults over age 26. 128 PEOPLE ENROLLED in The Goodwill Career and Technical Academy and earned an in-demand career certification. 3,827 JOB PLACEMENTS in the community. Goodwill Business Solutions is the fifth largest staffing service in Central Texas, helping to place job-ready individuals with local employers. 7,000 CLIENTS received intensive services through a Goodwill Workforce Advancement program, which provides career advancement training and support services.
