How does it all work? Single online application (MTAS) Application form divided into the following sections Personal Name and address Preferences You must rank 26 foundation schools Key questions There will be 8 questions with a maximum of 150 words each. References Your references must be clinicians Equality & diversity will be used by employers to build a demographic profile of their workforce. Submit Confirm application is completed and all information is correct and your own work You will be able to save your application at any time and come back to it at a later date during the application timeframe How does it all work? (2) Two phase process Phase one applying and allocation to a foundation school Your application will be scored by first choice foundation school - Your allocation will depend on your overall score, your preferences and the competition for places in foundation schools. Phase two - allocation to a post Recruitment to a post will only possible once you ve been allocated to a foundation school. You will be asked to rank posts in order of preference within a foundation school online through MTAS Recruitment to post will be based on your preferences and local matching processes. 3
