The program is formally structured to give interns the opportunity to work in positions related to their academic/career goals. Participant completes assigned duties, tasks, readings, and developmental activities specified in the program. A written agreement is required between the employing Center and intern. Within 120 calendar days after completing educational requirements, the employing agency may non-competitively promote and convert an intern to a career/career-conditional or term appointment. The conversion is not guaranteed and is based on the need of the agency. Positions may be in any of the following specialties: Computer Engineering Computer Science General Qualifications NASA Pathways candidates will meet the qualification requirements consistent with NASA and the OPM qualification standards applicable to the position being filled. Candidates will be required to meet NASA's Aeronautics, Scientific, and Technical (AST) qualification standards for the position(s) for which they are applying. To qualify you must: a.
