Ministry Spotlight Art and Environment The objective of this group of volunteers is to create a liturgical environment that is consistent with the liturgical season. This is accomplished by decorating the environment with the symbols and colors of the various seasons on the liturgical calendar. Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter and Ordinary Times all have a different emphasis. Certain liturgical seasons are busier than others such as Holy Week where the environment is changed three times. This ministry is made up of those who wish to work as part of a creative team. Artistic and design skills are desired but not required. Time Commitment: Time varies according to the liturgical season. Work time limited to no more than 3 hours per day over several days. To begin volunteering in this ministry, contact the parish office (480) 838-7474, ext. 125. For a complete directory of parish ministries, pick up a copy of the ministry catalog located in the brochure holders in the back of the church. Parish volunteers are an integral part of our worship, pastoral outreach, youth ministries, and religious education. Please consider joining a ministry. Volunteering is a wonderful way to become involved in parish life. Volunteering draws us closer to God; it helps us carry out and live our faith by building up the Body of Christ.
