Dear Colleagues, CEU Cardenal Herrera University (Valencia-Spain) started at the beginning of the year 2012 an ambitious project for internationalization. To develop our strategy, we have created an International Working Group that we want to increase with students and graduates from other European countries. From January 2012 we have received several students from different countries (see photo and pdf attached). The working group has the following functions: Collaboration in the process of internationalization by faculties Strengthening international relations office Search for new opportunities to attract students to study at our University Design communication actions to the outside through social networks, website, etc. Language support in the Primary and Secondary School The interns will collaborate with the following departments: - International Office assistance with international students - Exchange students Study abroad and careers opportunities. - Events and Cultural activities - Digital Communication (our web, facebook, twitter.) - Marketing recruitment of students from abroad - Students services - Language Service - Informatics Department - Sports Service We would like to recruit more international students for academic year (placement of 6 months minimum preferably) The profile we are interested in are the following: Intermediate level of Spanish Knowledge of English Computer programs: office We offer to join a group of young people, who will carry out an ambitious international project. In addition, the university offers free Spanish courses, bonus for meals from Monday to Friday, and the possibility of extending their studies at our university (specific offer for international students including master courses). The internship doesn t offer an economic complement. We welcome you to send this information to the students or graduated that could be interested in joining this international work team. Internship at CEU Cardenal Herrera University in Valencia

CEU Cardenal Herrera University in Valencia is a private catholic university established in 1933 and situated 15 minutes from the city center of Valencia, the 3rd largest city in Spain.

CEU Cardenal Herrera University is a modern and dynamic establishment which has state-of-theart installations, such as: operation rooms and labs for our health science degrees, rooms for architectural practice, audiovisual rooms including TV, photography and radio studios, and sports facilities. It also has a library which can hold 700 students and includes several computer suites.

As well as offering quality education and state-of-the-art facilities, CEU Cardenal Herrera University considers itself internationally accessible, and we constantly strive for new developments. We currently offer bilingual degree programmes, such as Veterinary Medicine (French-Spanish) and Dentistry (English-Spanish). Internship in the International Relations Office The International Relations team consists of 4 permanent staff members: Camino García Ventoso: International Relations Office manager Mercedes Gimeno. Responsible for European programmes (such as Erasmus) and activities related to our internationalization project Elena Alcaide. Responsible of internships and careers of CEU students Pía Mahmoudi. Responsible for the foreign students who come to study in the CEU and agreements with the other universities.

We look for dynamic, responsible, serious, creative, approachable people to assure the success of the internship programme itself and your own progress. You will work from Monday till Thursday from 9 am till 5 pm and on Fridays from 9 am till 2 pm.

During this internship, you will carry out various tasks, for example: Writing articles in English for our blog http://blog.uchceu.es/international-relations/ Processing documentation, admissions and integration of foreign students Managing the Erasmus and Leonardo programmes Other activities which will be determined upon your arrival

The city of Valencia Valencia is the 3rd largest city in Spain and the capital of the region of Valencia. As well as the beaches, sea and climate, Valencia is also known for its cultural wealth, such as the Fallas festival (which lasts almost a month), its sporting events, the spectacular Ciudad de las artes y las sciencias and its numerous natural reserves and parks. It is one of the most well-known cities for international exchanges, such as Erasmus or Leonardo. The expression " all work and no play" simply doesn t exist here! In Valencia you have everything you need on both a professional and cultural level as well as your social life. Carrying out your internship in a good atmosphere and in a beautiful building will without doubt add to your experience.
