About the Shooting Star Scholarship In an effort to support higher education within the White Earth Nation, Shooting Star has founded the Shooting Star Scholarship Fund, to raise money for scholarships to be awarded to White Earth members and descendants seeking post-secondary education. The 3 rd Annual Shooting Star Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held Friday, June 6, 2014 to raise money in support of the scholarship fund. All tournament profits go to support the scholarship fund, which will enable White Earth members and descendants to pursue higher education and further the future of the White Earth Nation. AWARDS: Scholarship recipients will be notified by May 16, 2014.
