The Definitive Anaesthetic Trauma Care (DATC ) course is developed under the auspices of the Steering Committee for Portugal of the International Association for Trauma Surgery and Intensive Care (IATSIC). The DATC designed for anaesthesiologists involved in trauma care. The DATC is an intensive course comprising lectures, online lectures before the course, interactive case discussions and trauma management simulation, designed to teach qualified anaesthesiologists and advanced anaesthesia trainees strategic thinking and decision- making in the management of the severely injured patients. The DATC shares lectures with the DSTC course for surgeons improving teamwork in the management of trauma patients. This course in Funchal will be limited to 16 participants. The lectures will be presented in English and Portuguese. Course Fee 400 Any cancellation or replacement must be conveyed to the organizer in writing. A cancellation charge of 50% of fee will be levied if the cancellation is received during the month before the scheduled course date. The organizer reserves the right to cancel the course and fully refund the participants should unforeseen circumstances necessitate it. DSTC (Definitive Surgical Trauma Course) and DPNTC (Definitive Perioperative Nursing Trauma Care) course, for nurses, will run simultaneously.
