RCMS Commemorative Gift Presented to the Colonel-in-Chief Commemorative Pen Box The cover of this hand-made box of Canadian hardwood is decorated with an enamel badge of the Royal Canadian Medical Service and a miniature of the Princess Royal s Banner, and it contains seven hand-made fountain pens, each of a different species of Canadian wood, and each sequentially engraved with the seven historic names of the Canadian military medical services
