The IMP Oberver ok the opportunity eek the advice of WCO Member through their repreentative the IMO Facilitation Committee on the legal and procedural proviion in repect of the control of uch firearm and ecurity equipment. The WCO participated in the IMO Facilitation Committee in September 2011 and, at that meeting, a requet wa again made the Cum community provide detail of Cum-related apect of the carriage, embarkation and diembarkation of firearm and ecurity equipment. In order cooperate with the IMO, the WCO Secretariat ha produced a hort quetionnaire which it hope will ait the IMO in developing further guidance for it Member.
