Real cases Fortumo www.fortumo.ee Intel Capital in cooperation with US risk capitalists Greycroft Partners bought part of shares of Estonian mobile payments company Fortumo. The value of the deal was around 10 million euros.
Real cases OÜ Loodusvägi (LOOV) www.loodusvagi.ee Loodusvägi participated in trade mission of Estonian companies to Denmark. As a part of the visit matchmaking was organised in cooperation with Danish Enterprise Europe Network partners whereas Loodusvägi met Danish company Biogan, which is distributing ecological and healthy products.
Real cases TBD Biodiscovery OÜ www.biodiscovery.eu TBD Biodiscovery asked Estonian EEN partner Invent Baltics to find clients and cooperation partners in pharmacy development sector who would be interested in using their technologies. Invent Baltics assisted the the company to compose 2 profiles in order to offer their technology in Enterprise Europe Network database. One UK company was interested in their profile. They met several times and decided to cooperate.
Visitret Displays www.visitret.com Electronic messaging boards can display information in increasingly sophisticated ways while saving energy. An Estonian high-tech company recently set up a research consortium to develop outdoor electronic message board applications, and thanks to the Enterprise Europe Network found a partner in Northern Ireland with hands-on experience in sports scoreboards.
