Business incubators are genuinely envisioned as economic development tools for job creation that brings more start-up companies with fewer business failures. Student business incubators play a significant role in economic growth and are based at economic and noneconomic colleges and high schools. They are a place where education, research and economy meet, where students find mentors to help them develop and implement business ideas, the infrastructure, associated services and eventual possibility of initial funding. The common characteristic of all student incubator tenants is that they are all student companies in a sense that they are formed and maintained by students. Students, while incubated, are mentored by experienced teachers/entrepreneurs who help them solve business challenges. Therefore, it is important that teachers/mentors who have entrepreneurial experience are involved in incubator. Usage of student business incubator as a methodical-didactical model for education of young people encourages business activity and supports entrepreneurial mind-set of students, simultaneously improving collaboration and networking of educational institutions and scientific research institutions with business sector. Mentorship by professors provides training for all interested students in the establishment, operation and management of small and medium enterprises, and enables the transfer of practical knowledge. Through these activities, students are being prepared for the real world of entrepreneurship. Project title: EntrepreneurSHEp
