11-13 OCTOBER 2017 TURIN ITALY THE VALUE OF HEALTH, HEALTH AS A VALUE An event for life, sciences and businesses, to support partnership and networking CENTRO CONGRESSI TORINO INCONTRA Via Nino Costa 8 - TURIN

Quality of life is one of the basic elements of progress. A prerequisite for performing all growth-based activities and an institutionally-acknowledged concept. For this reason, Life Sciences and health-related innovations are among the key elements influencing the progress of mankind and the environment in which we live. Discussions about health do not simple imply investments and costs, but an absolute value that sees technological innovation as the element of dynamism and growth towards more efficient and effective treatments, solutions and services. A dynamism towards systems of prevention, prediction, personalisation and participatory management of problems; 4P medicine therefore becomes a revolutionary clinical architecture based on a general and overall vision of the patient. This scenario is based on the identification of technologies and their sustainable implementation, their sharing and accessibility. Life Sciences are the element of innovation and transferability to other application contexts. They are factor of positive discontinuity towards the past and projection into the future. In this context, science leads to result that companies, which are often aggregated into territorial clusters, are able to transform through innovative processes, into solutions to be applied directly, or in collaboration with, the institutions. THE VALUE OF HEALTH, HEALTH AS A VALUE Meet in Italy for Life Sciences 2017 focuses on this vision, based not only on innovative prediction, prevention, personalised treatment and participatory problem management paradigms associated with human health, but also on the potential fertilisation of the technologies emerging from Life Sciences in other application contexts.

Meet in Italy for Life Sciences is the main national matchmaking and update event on topical issues in Life Sciences. The fourth edition of the event, which, over time, has acquired significant international participation, will be held in Turin from 11 to 13 October 2017 at the Centro Congressi Torino Incontra.
