Dear Cadet, It is our pleasure to have you attend our annual Summer Camp! I am confident that you will learn a great deal and enjoy yourself in your courses! Camp will be conducted from 23-30JUN17. The following information is provided for you and your parents/guardians: 1. UNIT OF ASSIGNMENT: The unit and assignment roster will be posted to www.cacadets.org NLT 15MAY2017. Please review the list and notify s1@cadet.org and s1@cacadet.org if there are misspellings or changes in rank. 2. LEADERSHIP: Those who have been selected as leadership for the 2017 Summer Encampment are expected to arrive at Camp San Luis Obispo, 10 Sonoma Avenue, Bldg 1301, NLT 2000, 20JUN17. 20JUN17 is a travel day. Having leadership arrive prior to the main body will provide Corps and Regimental Staff an opportunity to brief and train cadre on expectations, as well as allow leadership to prepare for their assigned duties. The DFAC is available for dinner between 1700-1800. If cadets aren t able to meet this time please notify omar.solache@cadet.org and marquise.tipton@cacadet.org; box dinners will be secured. 3. AWARDS CEREMONY INVITATION: Parents are invited to attend our Summer Camp Pass in Review and awards ceremony. The Pass in Review will begin promptly at 11:00am on Friday, 30JUN17. We recommend arriving an hour early to ensure adequate time to enter the post and get to the parade field. To enter the installation, vehicles must have proof of vehicle registration and insurance with a licensed drive without federal restrictions. Cadets may leave with their parent/guardian but must CHECK OUT with their Adult Advisor and the adult bus chaperone. Parents that wish to attend the ceremony should email dustin.dionne@cadet.org. 4.
