ABOUT AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. We are a nonpolitical, independent, not-for-profit organisation run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. About the GLOBAL TALENT Program : AIESEC s Global Talent program connects penultimate year students, recent graduates and young professionals to paid international Internships experiences across the world. This process is entirely student-operated with AIESEC members working to produce the best quality exchanges possible. Our goal is to send young people on programs that will develop professional skills and a global mindset. Each internship lasts between 3 and 18 months and are exclusively available for those that utilize AIESEC s services. The Global Talent program combines cultural immersion with professional development to provide and impactful experience.

Marketing is part creativity and part logic; combining aesthetic with a strong message for a company s target audience. An understanding of a product positioning is key to this field and interns can expect to build upon previous experience. Those that take on these opportunities can choose to work in graphic design, product design, branding, advertising, web development, and/or social media. In the more operational sense, there are also internships available that deal in buyer behavior, lead generation, process optimization, and strategic planning. Recent graduates entering the workplace are seeing difficulty in finding work because of this generation s great lack of relevant sales experience. Sales is the frontline of action for a firm to establish partnerships and produce results. Our goal is to find bright individuals ready to take on new challenges, especially in the international sector. GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURS Global Entrepreneur is a subset of the Global Talent Program. This product focuses on driving experiential leadership development through a suitable framework of operations with Start-Ups and Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across the world. This program is designed for a duration of 6 weeks to 8 weeks and accesses students and recent graduates for the innovation and product development of the company. The program offers : A unique international professional development experience in a Start-Up environment. Practical skills to complement your educational background. Global network and international connections. An intensive cultural immersion. 8-12 weeks experience in a startup abroad.

FEES & COSTS All programs require a 5000INR registration fee upon local committee application approval. Once a contract has been signed between the Exchange Participant and the organization hosting the internship, participants are then charged an additional program fee once participants are matched. AIESEC does not cover flights, visas, and/or any required vaccinations. Many internships in Western Europe, for example, may require at least a bachelor s degree and work experience before an applicant will be considered.

FAQ s What fields of work does AIESEC offer? There are 3 main fields that are most available in AIESEC database, which are Marketing, IT and Business Administration. If your major belongs to one of three above fields, there would be a high chance for you to match with suitable internship positions since numerous companies around the world are looking for interns in those fields. Moreover, Education is also a good choice since this internship position is also welcomed by many countries. AIESEC did offer internship in other fields such as Language Education, Finance, Accounting, Art & Architecture, Engineering and Science, but there are less opportunities available compared to the 3 main fields. In other words, it would be more difficult to get an internship if you apply in unpopular fields. How can I get an international internship by applying to Global Talent Program? After you pass the Application Form and the Interview round, you would sign the contract with AIESEC to become the official Exchange Participant. After that, you would be guided to use the opportunities portal (internships.aiesec.org) AIESEC internship database, where you would search for your internship. Here, you can apply for any internship position that you are interest in. The company would contact you for the interview if they are impressed with your CV. After that, if they offer you the internship, then you can accept by sending an Acceptance Note (provided by AIESEC) and finish your process. All you have to do later on is your Visa and other necessary papers, and then you can start a new journey with the support from AIESEC. How long does it take from the moment I apply for the internship on internships.aiesec.org to the time I get an internship? It takes from 1 to 2 weeks for company to call you for the job interview, if you follow all the process correctly and meet all minimum requirements. It takes another 1 or 2 weeks for them to make the decision whether they should offer you internship. Later on, you might need 3-4 weeks to do your visa and prepare necessary things. Over all, it might take you from 1.5 to 2 month to finish the process. Therefore, you might want to apply as soon as possible if you want to start your internship as your intended time. Our Global Internship Fair events in Bangalore are focused on reducing this time span to 3-5 weeks. When I work in a certain country, do I need to be fluent in its language? Proficiency in English is required to be eligible to go on most any AIESEC internship. In Central and South America the majority of internships require proficiency in Spanish. Those in Germany often require proficiency in German. Those in Japan usually require certain level of Japanese. Additional language ability is an added bonus for applicants. Do I have any salary if I join AIESEC Global Talent programme? Yes. The monthly salary paid by the company that accepts you as intern will be enough for you to cover all living expenses. What if I could not find any internship? You will have 1 yearto search and apply for internships. After 9 months, your contract and account would be expired, but if you wish to continue searching for global internship, you have to repeat the process. AIESEC provides Airport pick-up, assistance with finding accommodation, an induction and training(only if required), access to cultural events hosted by AIESEC (Search for Global Villages on youtube) and other support based on the country/project you are going for.
