FREQUENTY ASKED QUESTIONS REGISTRATION How do I register for Naturallia 2015? That's easy - visit www.naturallia.com and click the "registration" tab. How can I attend Naturallia as a member of the Northern Bioeconomy Delegation? The final question of the Eventbrite registration form asks if you are registering as part of a delegation. Please indicate "Biomass North Development Centre" as your head of delegation. MULTI SECTOR This forum is not specialized enough for my domain/area. Multi- sector = richness and diversity of contacts. There are always many overlaps between business sectors in the organized meetings. My area is too specialized to take part in a forum with so many sectors. Overall attitude to finding partners: one attends the forum with the intention of meeting companies operating upstream, downstream and parallel to one s own activity, in other markets, and even those in direct competition (to create synergy in new or emerging markets). There won t be enough companies in my sector. Buyers will always be found at the forum, and business will be done. The objective is above all strategic and cooperative, increasing the number of contacts, networking, seeking alliances and complementing activities, etc. A DIFFERENT TYPE OF FORUM There will not be buyers of my product. Naturallia is aimed at business owners/directors rather than salespeople. The participants, top level representatives of SMEs, make contact with other like- minded entrepreneurs in all kinds of partnerships, such as development, sales, suppliers, sub- contracting, distribution, logistics, export, and R&D. This is not a contractor- subcontractor forum. It s the number of prequalified participants to the forum that present such diverse contact opportunities. This includes the industry sectors and geographical zones represented. MY BUSINESS SECTOR IS NOT REPRESENTED There aren t enough registered companies from my sector. Registration is not closed yet. Other companies will complete their catalogue profile up until a few days before the forum. Nonetheless, it is better to be registered earlier, in order to be visible for longer in the catalogue. I don t want to meet companies from another sector. Delegation Leaders can be contacted to find matching companies in their region to suit your company. Page 7/12

WHO WILL I MEET? I do not know WHO I will meet when I am registering. The matchmaking software uses the entire pool of meeting choices to create the meeting schedules. Your schedule will contain meetings you have requested, meetings where you are requested, and reciprocal meetings, where both sides have requested the other. I have no guarantee of meeting the companies that I have chosen in the catalogue. The software treats your choices in order of priority, from first to last. A choice in position No. 1, or in the top few, is very likely to be satisfied. There is no way of seeing other registered companies at the time of registration. You will be able to create additional meetings during the forum. We have a set of tools to allow one to locate and meet any registered company. This is essential for companies with whom it was not possible to organize a meeting. I would like to receive my meeting plan two weeks before the start of the event. It is not feasible to send out the appointment program two weeks prior to the event, as there are always last- minute cancellations or registrations. If we were to do the matchmaking too early, we would not be able to include the data required to generate the best possible meeting schedule. GUARANTEED NUMBER OF MEETINGS You cannot guarantee me a specific number of meetings at the forum. The number of meetings depends on the number of choices made and received. It s up to the participant to optimize the outcome of their schedule by making the most meeting choices possible. How many of my own meeting choices will be satisfied? The descriptive quality of your profile in the catalogue is imperative for a successful forum: a clear, short description of your activities, your projects and your objectives. Will I be refunded if I don t receive enough organized meetings? Reimbursements are rarely possible since the Delegation Leader performs the pre- event qualitative recruitment. RECIPROCAL MEETING CHOICES What if I do not want to meet the companies that have chosen me? The unexpected element of unrequested meetings, where participants find themselves approached for new projects, business deals, materials, and other proposals that they would never have thought of, often leads to the most profitable meetings. Remember, this company is seeking you out for a reason. Who exactly are the people who are requesting a meeting with me? You are kindly asked to honour the organized meetings, even if you have not requested them. In the case of a lack of interest, a meeting may last only five minutes, which only leaves more time for informal meeting. Page 8/12
