Page 11804 State of West Virginia County of Putnam, to-wit Winfield, West Virginia PUTNAM COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION Winfield, West Virginia The Putnam County Board of Education met in a statutory meeting pursuant to WVC 18-5-1c on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. at the Central Office in Winfield, West Virginia. Flag Salute Members present. William Legg, Dr. Sam P. Sentelle, Jack Coyner, G. Robert Cunningham, Dr. Craig Spicer, and Harold Hatfield, Secretary, were present. Approval of Minutes Motion by Jack Coyner, seconded by Rob Cunningham, to approve the minutes of the meeting of April 4, 2016, as read. Motion carried. Vote: 5 ayes 0 nays. Delegations Levy Order Pursuant to WVC 11-8-9 and 12 the Board on March 7, 2016, had ascertained the fiscal affairs of the district and ordered levy rates be proposed for the year ending June 30, 2017. Said rates having been duly published by the Secretary of the Board and approved in writing by the Tax Commissioner, and such statement herewith duly entered by reference in the record of proceedings together with the written approval, motion by Craig Spicer, seconded by Jack Coyner, to enter the levy for 2016-2017 pursuant to WVC 11-8-12a. Motion carried. Vote: 5 ayes 0 nays. This meeting being a continuation of that of March 7, 2016 pursuant to WVC 11-8-12, motion by Jack Coyner, seconded by Sam Sentelle, to adjourn the levy meeting and reconvene in regular session.
