Around The House April 20, 2019 Issue 31 Providing Christcentered education to children of all ethnic heritages and income levels since 1981 Rivertown Races 4.27.19 The Potter s House and Bridge Street House of Prayer are hosting the Rivertown Races on April 27, 2019. This is a great fundraiser for both organizations. Rivertown Races is a family-friendly, fully supported and professionally timed race with ½ marathon, 10k, and 5k distances. Register to run at: https://rivertownraces.com/register/ Volunteer There s no need to be a runner to be an important part of this community-wide event. Over 50 volunteers will make this event possible, and your hours can be turned in as parent commitment service hours. We need volunteers on April 26 th and 27 th. Volunteering to help at a race is a great way to give back to the community and support your friends and family that may be running. Experience the fun and excitement of a race without the anxiety! If you have never run a road race before, volunteering is an excellent way to get your feet wet before you take the plunge and sign up for a race.
