"DAY TO DREAM" IS OCTOBER 7th As a child, were you fond of day-dreaming? Thinking about things you'd like to do, places you'd like to visit, adventures you'd like to take? Sometimes congregations need to "day-dream" a little by taking time to ponder the ministries God is calling us to undertake. On Sunday October 7th, the ministry and leadership groups of Central will gather from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. to share their ministry dreams and plans for 2013. We invite you to join us and offer any suggestions you might have to our "dreaming". We have great servant-leaders at Central, but we also have a wealth of wisdom and knowledge in our congregation. Join us on October 7th from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. for a "day to dream"! BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS OCTOBER 7th Bring your pet[s] and join us at 4:00 p. m. on the 23rd Avenue parking lot next to the Annex Building for our 2012 "Blessing of the Animals." Our ministry staff will form several "stations" to bless God's good gift of animals. We also encourage everyone to bring a donation of pet food, pet supplies, or money to support East Mississippi Animal Rescue. BISHOP JAMES SWANSON TO VISIT CENTRAL ON OCTOBER 14th Central will host a Meridian District "welcome" for Bishop James Swanson and his wife Delphine on Sunday October 14th at 3:00 p.m. We hope you will come and join Methodists from across the district to help the Swansons feel "at home" in the Mississippi Conference. CURRENT EVENTS BOY SCOUT NEWS Central's own Troop-2 will be holding a Court of Honor tonight at 6:15 p.m. in the Chapel.
