Congratulations to the boys cross country team as they qualified to compete at the State Cross Country Meet this next Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids by placing 2nd in the sectional meet at Mitchell Park this past weekend. Fighting the winterlike elements of high winds and cold temperatures, the boys brought a great effort behind two top 10 finishers Josh Truchon 2nd overall and Liam Kelley in the #6 position overall, followed by remaining team members; Brad Glisczinski, Matthew Kees, Cole Konczal, Brennan Kompas, and Ethan Fischer, This is the boys cross country teams first team appearance at state since 2012 and we wish them luck as they compete against the top 20 teams state-wide. And on the girls side of the CC sectional, congratulations goes out to senior, Christy Einberger who placed 7th overall out of the 56 runners earning her a spot at the state competition as well. We wish her luck in her second state appearance as a high school runner. As in the past, we will have a send-off for our state competitors this Thursday during homeroom. You will be able to share your words of support and sign a banner in the Commons.
