CONFERENCE Highlights A Message from our Chairman We are excited for the upcoming 2018 Georgia Construction Conference to be held on May 9 th and 10 th at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center. The conference will be headlined by Anirban Basu who will be providing this year s economic update which is brought to you by ViewPoint. This year s conference will be a two-day event with great programs on some of the most important topics in the construction industry, and will cost $200 for both days or $150 for one day. In addition, we will be presenting a Mental Health Awareness Summit. Mr. Basu has written several high-profile economic development strategies on behalf of government agencies and non-profit organizations, including co-authoring economic development strategies for Baltimore City and Baltimore County, Maryland. Among other things, Anirban serves as the chief economist to Associated Builders and Contractors (national) and as chief economic advisor to the Construction Financial Management Association.
