Page 2 EQB Monitor Vol. 30, No. 22 Project Title: Menahga Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvement Project Description: The city of Menahga proposes to expand their existing three-cell wastewater treatment facility (WWTF), approximately 15 acres in size, by constructing a new 13.4-acre secondary stabilization pond directly to the south of the existing stabilization pond system. The expansion of the WWTF will provide for greater treatment of municipal wastewater treatment. The WWTF will discharge seasonally through an unnamed ditch and, ultimately, to the Crow Wing River. Page 5 EQB Monitor Vol. 30, No. 22 Minnesota Statutes 1988, Chapter 664, requires the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) to prepare an Assessment of Environmental Effects (AOEE) for projects in the Commission s seven-year Capital Improvement Program (2007-2013) for airports included in its system. An EAW, EA or EIS has been previously prepared and public hearing held for each MSP and reliever airport project in the 2007-2013 CIP that requires an EAW under Chapter 664. An assessment of the cumulative environmental effects of CIP projects at each affected airport in the system is presented in the AOEE.
