Come join us for dinner, games, and socializing at Game on Fenway in downtown Boston. There is plenty to do at this fun place next door to Fenway Park! The social begins at 7pm. Meet at the ASABE registration desk and we will make the 20 minute walk together! All undergraduate, graduate students, and members under 35 years old are invited to this event. Food and drink are available for purchase. Cost: Pre-registration Required ASABE WELCOME RECEPTION Sunday, July 7 4:30pm-6:00pm All meeting registrants are invited to attend the welcome reception. This is a great event to network and make plans for dinner later on. The Boston Visitors Bureau will be available to offer advice and assist you in making your dining reservations. E#13 ASSOCIATION OF OVERSEAS CHINESE AGRICULTURAL, BIOLOGICAL, AND FOOD ENGINEERS (AOCABFE) ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING AND AWARD BANQUET Monday, July 8 5:00pm-7:00pm The AOCABFE annual meeting provides a platform for promoting and facilitating research and educational exchanges among researchers with Chinese origin or associations in the areas of agricultural, biological and food engineering. The ASABE meeting attendees with international collaboration interests are invited to attend the meeting as well. The AOCABFE activities in 2018-2019 will be reviewed and plans of action for 2019-2020 will be discussed. Following the business meeting the members of AOCABFE will be gathering at an off-site location for the awards dinner and an opportunity for socializing and networking. Recognition and awards will be presented at the banquet. Cost: $65.00 member E#14 ASSOCIATION OF AGRICULTURAL FOOD AND BIOLOGICAL ENGINEERS OF INDIAN ORIGIN (AABFEIO) BUSINESS MEETING AND DINNER Monday, July 8 5:30pm-6:30pm The 2019 Annual Business Meeting of AABFEIO will be held from 5:30PM to 6:30PM on Monday, July 8 at the ASABE conference venue. Following the meeting, the association will have its annual dinner from 7:00 PM to 9:30PM. Dinner location will be announced. Tickets for students are discounted. Cost: $30 member/ $20 student/ $35 non-member FELLOWS INDUCTION CEREMONY / RECEPTION Monday, July 8 6:00pm-8:00pm All registrants are invited to this special recognition ceremony and reception honoring the 2019 ASABE Fellows. ASABE defines a Fellow as a member of unusual professional distinction, with outstanding and extraordinary qualifications and experience in, or related to, the field of agricultural, food, or biological systems engineering. E#15 GRADUATE STUDENT SOCIAL Monday, July 8 7:30pm-9:30pm This event will provide an informal setting for graduate students from all over the world to meet up, socialize and make connections with each other. This event is a wonderful time to learn more about the professional side of the world as you dine. Reservations must be made by on or before Tuesday, July 9.
