A board member requested this information as a result of the pay to play discussion last month. Summer Program Update Laurie Heinricher and Marlyn Lux presented information on the upcoming summer program. Mrs. Lux suggested to board members that they peruse the Hampton website for detailed information. Twenty-eight courses are being offered, and approximately ten courses have been added to this summer s program. Mrs. Lux spent a lot of time meeting and discussing possibilities for courses with teachers. This personal approach proved beneficial and added opportunities for students. A number of primary (k-3) courses are being offered which were not available in the past. The program will be marketed a bit more this year as well. Mrs. Lux and Ms. Heinricher met with Shari Berg twice to increase the marketing impact. Hampton On-line Academy Program of Studies The program of studies has been edited and updated. Those changes appear in red. Many changes have to do with accountability, specifically attendance and work completion. Currently in our program we have nine high school and two middle school students.
