Super Soccer Stars, Columbus Day Clinic WHO: Co-ed, ages 3-5 WHEN: Monday, October 10, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. WHERE: Recreation Center, 900 Ferry Street, (Mini Field, next to the office) FEE: $65.00 p.p. Min. 5 - Max. 16 per class Fun in the Sun is 2 hours of outdoor soccer fun and activities. A typical day includes warm-ups and stretching, skill building and skill development activities, scrimmages and small sided games. The finale is the big game, where the kids get to play each other, and then challenge their coaches! Fun in the Sun is a great way for your child to develop soccer skills and teamwork while spending time outside! STAFF: All Super Soccer Stars coaches share two passions: a passion for soccer and a passion for working with children. Within this framework, our coaches bring an eclectic mix of talents and backgrounds. Wear sneakers, T shirt, bring a bottle of water and Peanut Free snack. The overnight adventure includes: deluxe motor coach transportation, beverages and donuts served en route, accommodations at the Hilton Garden Inn, Ridgefield Park NJ, (or comparable), Full American Breakfast Buffet at the hotel, Full Course Dinner (restaurant TBA) Reserved seating for the Radio City Music Hall Spectacular, orchestra/first mezzanine seating. Free time for Holiday Shopping and browsing: visit 911 Memorial and more! A sure sell out! This is a wonderful overnight event for adults and or families. The motorcoach leaves Saturday early morning from the Recreation Child Care Center, 14 Library Plaza, and returns early evening Sunday night. Students welcome with an adult. Cancelations received up to 35 days of departure, $50.00 fee. Cancellations received 34-16 days before departure - $150.00 pp fee plus applicable tour/ticket penalties. No refunds for cancellations received less than 16 days before departure. Please note any health /mobility restrictions. If you require assistance, you must travel with a companion who will help you throughout the trip. Note: Triple/Quad accommodations have 2 full or queen-sized beds. A cot may be requested. Horseback Riding Clinic Saturday, October 15, 2:00p.m. at Furnace Brook Farms Learn about riding styles and forms, types of horses, ponies, care, feeding, grooming, and expenses. Enjoy a riding demonstration, which may include small jumps. Parents attend with child. Bring a camera for great photos. Instructor - Erin Van Steenburgh is a Massachusetts Licensed Riding Instructor who holds 2 national titles and has run riding camps for nine years. Baby Sitting Training For Kids FBMS students, co-ed (grades 6-8) Monday, November 7 - December 12 (6 weeks) 2:25 p.m. - 3:25 p.m. Min. 18 - Max. 20 Furnace Brook Middle School, Room #20 8th grade Art Room, across from the cafeteria $55.00 per person, includes booklets, bottle of water and a small snack Staff: Ms. Susan Clancy, The course will include basic first aid, safety precautions, ageappropriate activities, parental expectations, babysitting as a business, role playing, interviewing and more! After School Sports - Offered at the Daniel Webster, Martinson and Eames Way Schools For students in grades 3, 4, and 5. Fall session will start the week of October 17. For details see the Fall Brochure Kids Fit A before school fitness program This fall we are pleased to offer Kids Fit is offered at the Daniel Webster, Eames Way and Martinson Schools. We offer two 5 week sessions. Please refer to the Fall Brochure for details on days, times and cost. Adult Programs Badminton Adults (Co-Ed, High School grads and older) Mondays, September 26 January 9, 7:00-9:00 p.m. Martinson Elementary School gym, $30.00 per person, Min. 8 Max. 12

You saw it at the Olympics and now you can play it in Marshfield. The badminton program will focus on increasing fitness levels and endurance of participants in a fun and energized environment. Focus will be on introducing badminton techniques and strategy while developing basic strokes and footwork, game play and having fun! Come dressed and ready to play! Remember to bring your racquet. Volleyball Adults (Co-Ed, High School Grads and older) Thursdays, 7:00 9:30 p.m. September 29 January 19, 2017 Martinson Elementary School Gym, $34.00 p.p. (guest pass-$5.00, good for one visit) Recreational play, ideal for those who have played previously. Instruction offered as needed. Basic rules are followed.
