A total of 68 Associates participated. Net savings or enhanced revenue: Nearly $1.7 million, or about $71,000 per idea. Doylestown Health took time recently to celebrate the impact two dozen ideas can have on a non-profit organization that has thrived on a very thin profit margin. Every one of the 24 ideas had an impact some large, some small, all important. Value Enhancement: It s not just about the savings In the first full year of the Value Enhancement, nearly $1.7 million in savings or extra revenue were realized. Is $5 million out of reach? Our consultants don t think so in fact, they think $18 million is possible. How to identify a value enhancement: Will the change increase professionalism, accuracy or reputation? Will the change increase value, access or availability of service, or revenue? Will the change make us more proud of our work or improve quality? All ideas are welcome. 3
