FROM THE DESK OF MRS. LA SALLE Blessed are You, Lord God of all creation June 2, 2015 Dear Parents: Welcome to the first week of June! Our Eighth Graders have a very busy two weeks ahead of them. They are taking their Cumulative Review tests now. This Friday is their Retreat. Sunday is their Graduates Mass at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome to attend. Next week is filled with activities including their trip to Woodloch Pines, their Dinner Dance and finally their Graduation on Thursday, June 11 th. at 7:00 p.m. Please keep our students in your prayers as they prepare to say goodbye. The Band Concert is tomorrow, Wednesday, June 3 rd. at 9:30 a.m. in the Carnevale Center. Please join us. This weekend, June 6-7 th. is the Clothing Drive. If you can spare any time to help, it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact the office or Kathy Hickey for details. Looking ahead Little Friars Celebration- Wednesday, June 17 th. 9:00 a.m. in the Church Hall Pre-K Celebration- Wednesday, June 17 th. 11:00 a.m. in the Carnevale Center Kindergarten Celebration- Wednesday, June 17 th. at 1:00 p.m. in the Carnevale Center There is no Liturgy on June 17 th. Our final Mass is on Thursday, June 18 th. at 8:30 a.m. The first grade will be preparing the Mass. Dismissal is at 12:30 p.m. on that day. Our last day of school is Friday, June 19 th. St. Mary s School Presents Our Semi-Annual Clothing Drive Fundraiser Dates: Saturday June 6, 2015 Sunday June 7, 2015 Times: Saturday 4:30 pm-7:00 pm Sunday 9:00 am- 1:00 pm Place: St. Mary s Parking Lot Lenox Avenue, Pompton Lakes, NJ Items may include: Useable and Wearable Clothing (men s, women s & children s) Accessories (handbags, belts, scarves, ties, hats, etc.) Shoes (bagged separately) Soft Household Items (bedding, curtains, tablecloths, towels, etc.) Bicycles and Hard Toys (Toys must be boxed separately). PLEASE PLACE ALL YOUR ITEMS IN PLASTIC GARBAGE BAGS Clothes are NOT turned into rags. SCRIP NEWS As we approach the end of the school year, the amount of gift cards in the inventory binder will change. From now until the end of the school year, only the following cards will continuously be replenished: A & P, Shoprite, Stop & Shop (4%) Target, Walmart (2.5%) Quick Check (2%) Wendy s (4%) Applebee s (8%) Chili s (11%) Kohl s (4%) Starbucks (7%) Dunkin Donuts (3%) Mack s (16%) AMC (8%) If you would like other gift cards, you must place an order on the usual schedule: All online orders must be placed by Sunday night to be picked up the following Friday. Paper orders must be sent to school by Monday morning for them to be ready for pickup on Friday. SUMMER BREAK During our summer break you may continue to order gift cards. The procedures are as follow: - Orders will only be done through Presto Pay. There will be no checks or cash accepted during pick up. - There will be no paper orders during summer break. Only online orders will be accepted. - Orders must be placed by Sunday evening and they will be ready for pick up on the following Friday.

- The orders can be picked up at the school or Parish center. Send an email (stmarysscrippompton@gmail.com) to specify where you will pick up your order. - All order totals have to exceed $500 before it is submitted. If $500 is not met, the order will be combined with the orders of the following week. - On July 1 st, begins the Rebate accumulation for school year 2015-2016. Special Bonus Rebate: Customers who purchase The Home Depot Gift Cards or ScripNow ecards during this time will receive a 5% contribution instead of the standard 4%. Customers who purchase any denominations of Cabela's gift cards or ScripNow will receive a 14% contribution instead of the standard 11%. During this time, AMC Theatres $25 gift cards, ReloadNow, and ScripNow purchases will award a 13% contribution instead of the standard 8%. During this time, all denominations of Bass Pro Shops gift cards and ScripNow purchases will award a 13% contribution instead of the standard 9%.
