Ask for Kansas Lions Rate Doubletree Hotel Lawrence, 200 McDonald Drive, It is very important to reserve your rooms by May 10 th. Ask for the Lions block and rate. IMPORTANT: Please register with the Lions Information table to receive your registration packet and tickets...at the Constitution and By-Laws table to be certified for voting, and visit various displays and booths. HOSPITALITY ROOM will be provided by the Lions and Lions Clubs of 17-A. Please join for refreshments and fellowship. SPECIAL GUEST: Our special guest for State Convention will be Tom Gordon and wife Gillian of Canada. IMPORTANT: MEAL RESERVATIONS!! A registration form is also attached for meal reservations. Please abide by the due date of May 24 as reservations have to be made in advance. COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSONS: You are responsible for making approximately 20 copies of your report for Governors, Governors-Elect and head table. All reporting will be done during this time. We will have the State Convention Business Session at 2:00 p.m. We are doing Special Seminars Saturday afternoon. FRIDAY EVENING will be a time for fun and fellowship. VERY special entertainment!! HIGHLIGHTS - will be the Kansas Lions Band of approximately 200 plus students from across Kansas performing at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Baker University. SPECIAL NOTE - The Service of Remembrance honoring our deceased Lions for the past 12 months will be held Saturday, June 2 immediately following the Luncheon approximately 1:30 p.m. Please join in this time of remembering the deceased Lions of our state.
