The sounding of Taps, the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and the raising of a flag presented to the family of a deceased veteran, make this a truly moving ceremony. The ceremony is most meaningful when the flag raised is one that has been presented to a parish family. You are encouraged to take part in an upcoming ceremony by lending us the flag of a family member for this beautiful ceremony. If you would like to participate in an upcoming ceremony, please contact Deacon Dick directly at 259-3846 or by e-mail: dick.lombard@dor.org. The next flag raising ceremony is Sunday May 28 at 10:00 am.
