The awards will be made public in a variety of ways. In particular, the recipients name and photo will be in the home football game programs, their hometown newspaper will receive a press release from the media relations department noting their award and finally receiving the presentation of a plaque during halftime activities of the last home football game, which is also Vandal Booster Weekend. Each award is described in the following pages of the booklet along with a nomination form. It is suggested that additional letters of recommendation, statistics or any other information that could help the National Board in its selection process accompany the nomination form. Again, all nominations except the President s Special Service Award and the Vandal Spirit Award will come from the various Vandal Scholarship Fund chapters or personal nominations from current VSF members around the nation with the final selection coming from the National Board.
