Indicative list of supported actions (TO6) An increasing readiness to eliminate pollution in the Baltic Sea and Lake Peipsi/Chudsko- Pskovskoe (in relation to equipment, joint activities, and reaction) Educational projects that are related to energy Joint actions for improving rescue fire services and protecting forests Reconstruction of waste water treatment plants Increasing awareness in environmental protection Joint actions to ensure the sustainability of the fishing industry The design, construction, and reconstruction of solid waste recycling plants The design, construction, and reconstruction of safe storage locations for solid household and industrial waste

Partnership requirement At least 2 partners At least one partner from Estonia and one from Russia Associated partners

Eligible partners I Have to be established and have their legal address in the Programme area National, regional and local public authorities Associations that are formed by one or more national, regional or local authorities Public equivalent bodies

Eligible partners II Other bodies that are governed by public legal acts (museums, municipal and national enterprises, trade unions, medical institutions) Associations of previously mentioned bodies Educational organisations NGOs and other non-profit-making bodies SMEs (participation is allowed only under TO1) SMEs cannot act as Applicant (Lead beneficiary) SMEs cannot act as the only partner from the participating country

Partners Partners form adjoining area - Põhja-Eesti (including Tallinn) can participate in the projects under TO1 and TO6

Associated partners Can be involved if they play a real role in the project Do not have to meet the eligibility criteria referred to in point 4 of the Guidelines

Associated partners From Latvia and Finland From other regions No funding except of: daily allowances, accommodation, subsistence and travel costs; external expertise procured for the project needs No funding except of: daily allowances, accommodation, subsistence and travel costs
