(c) Motion to accept the following donations: $250 Sam Hill Tree Care to Landscape Design & Management $500 VFW of Ohio Charities to JROTC $1,000 AMVETS Memorial Post 95 Inc. to JROTC (d) As prescribed in Section 5705.31 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Budget Commission of Knox County, Ohio, held a hearing on the proposed FY2019 budget of the Board of Education, Knox County Career Center School District, Ohio. The Knox County Budget Commission approved the proposed FY2019 budget, and the tax rates requested to support the General Fund. Therefore, it is recommended the members of the Board approve adopting the following resolution: RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE AMOUNTS AND RATES AS DETERMINED BY THE BUDGET COMMISSION AND AUTHORIZING THE NECESSARY TAX LEVIES AND CERTIFYING THEM TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR WHEREAS, This Board of Education, in accordance with the provisions of law, has previously adopted a Tax Budget for the next succeeding fiscal year commencing July 1, 2018, and ending June 30, 2019, WHEREAS, the Budget Commission of Knox County, Ohio, has certified its action thereon to this Board, together with an estimate by the County Auditor of the rate of each tax necessary to be levied by this Board, and what part thereof is without, the ten mill tax limitation, therefore, be it RESOLVED, By the Board of Education of the Knox County Career Center School District, Knox County, Ohio, the amounts and rates, as determined by the Budget Commission in its certification, be and the same are hereby accepted: and be it further RESOLVED, There be and is hereby levied on the tax duplicate of said School District the rate of each tax necessary to be levied without the ten mill limitation as follows: AMOUNT TO BE DERIVED COUNTY AUDITOR S FROM LEVIES OUTSIDE ESTIMATE OF TAX FUND 10 MILL LIMITATION RATE TO BE LEVIED General $3,865,800.00 6.40 And be it further RESOLVED, The Treasurer of this Board be, and she is hereby, directed to certify a copy of this Resolution to the County Auditor of said County.
