Accomplishment in 4-H projects, participation in activities, events in the area of the award and other leadership experiences. 2. Length of time involved in the project or activity for which the award is being considered. 3. Leader's recommendation must be received for consideration.
Submitted Record Book completed to date. Record book should include Project Record Sheet for each medal applied for and Activity Record Sheet. 5. Make a copy of the form for your records. 6. You must complete one application for every medal for which you apply.
IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR A MEDAL IN AN AREA THAT IS NOT YOUR MAIN PROJECT, BE SURE TO STATE HOW YOU LEARNED THE INFORMATION IN SECTION I.A. ON YOUR APPLICATION. The following are eligibility rules for County Medals: 1. Members must be 13 as of January 1 of this year and must not have passed their 19th birthday by January 1. 2. Members must be enrolled as 4-Hers for at least two years. 3. Members may receive more than one county medal in a year at the discretion of the Selection Committee. 4. Members may receive a county medal award more than once in the same project area only when outstanding growth is shown in the project.
