About Olympiad Water issue is burning in these years & shall have larger magnitude in coming years & decades. Its location is Global. Today, in 21st century the problem of drinking water has become really severe. As per the research, India will lose 50% of the river waters by 2030. The technologies & awareness only can give some relief from the scarcity of water. Water related issues are very crucial and shall have larger magnitude in coming decades. Only the technologies and public awareness can give some relief from water scarcity. We will jointly propose and organize the competition of submission of Essays, Thesis, Project Reports, Research papers, on the base theme of 'Solution to Water scarcity and Conservation of Water'. The assessment of the submissions will take the selective research oriented papers shall take the candidates to second stage of physical presentation to be evaluated for credits. The main objective of this competition is to understand and get sensitized with issues, and to come out with practical, implementable solutions with reference to the Indian environmental conditions. The most pounding being that of water crisis. We aim at having the project and competition for University research Fellows, PhD students and Post Doctoral Fellows to create the project reports / Thesis to innovate by submitting the Research paper. Hence to give opportunity to budding technocrats to innovate and to act on this subject, Rotary Club Pune Sinhgad Road in association with S. P. Pune University and Janeev Yuva Foundation will be conducting various activities such as Project Competitions, Paper Presentations, Concepts Suggestion, Poster Competition and Short film Competition. About Janeev Yuva Foundation Janeev Yuva is a voluntary youth organisation, providing platform for youngsters to deploy their ideas for the betterment of society. Our aims is to create youth more conscious about their duties and try to channelize their efforts for the well-being of the society. We developed every individual in the organization on a personal level to create a word class citizen for tomorrow. D Y Patil College of Engineering, Akurdi Dr. D. Y. Patil Prathishthan's, D.Y. Patil College of Engineering, was established in 1984 in Pimpri and later shifted to Akurdi complex in 2001, which is in the vicinity of Pimpri Chinchwad Industrial area, one of the biggest Industrial belts in Asia. The college spreads over 10 acres of land with seven Engineering disciplines. This Institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Abstract Submission Presentations on practical, theoretical and methodological aspects of identified themes and related areas as well as case studies are welcome. The participants are requested to send their abstracts latest by 31 st November, 2018 and after intimation of acceptance, full papers for publication in conference proceedings latest by 20st December, 2018. Please observe the following guidelines while preparing your abstract. Abstracts must be written in Times New Roman, 12 font size and 1.5 spacing without insertion of any special symbol, formula, diagram, table, or reference. The sequence of the abstract be Title in running text; Authors name; Affiliation; Contacts; Abstract body; Key words Abstracts must be submitted online along with registration form in the link given below: http://www.rotarywaterolympiad.org/register/ Files sent through email or by any other means cannot be considered under normal circumstances. Abstract titles are to be restricted within 25 words. Full names, affiliations, and e-mails of all authors should be included. Abstracts should clearly indicate the research problem, the methodology and the results of the work within 400 words. Preference of presentation poster (maximum size: A0 on portrait format) or oral should be indicated by the authors. The Programme Committee may revise the presentation type based on their evaluation. Their decision will be binding on the author(s). To prevent multiple submissions of the same abstract, only the presenting authors should submit one. If an abstract is contributed by more than one author and the non-presenting author also registers for the conference, she or he will be automatically mapped to the abstract she or he co-authored. All abstracts will be reviewed by the Programme Committee and may be sent back for revision, if required. Decisions regarding acceptance will be intimated within a week of abstract submission. However, Persons attending the Conference without abstracts can directly proceed for registration.
