INTRODUCTION Axia Companies is owned and operated by two highly qualified and motivated individuals who both have significant development and construction experience throughout the United States. Jeff Schaumann, President Axia Development Brett Rossell, President Axia Contracting Axia Companies specializes in general contracting services and the production of multifamily, student housing, hospitality and senior housing. With extensive background experience in construction and development and a vast knowledge base of the real estate industry, Axia Companies is known for its many successful construction and development projects throughout the United States. We not only understand how to build your project, we also understand that the purpose of the project is to build our customer s net worth. With offices in North Dakota and Texas, our experienced team works collaboratively with owners to fully understand their specific needs and goals. We provide solutions to fit those needs and strive to work closely with each owner to achieve their goals. AXIA CONTRACTING: Axia Contracting operates as the General Contracting division. Our staff has extensive experience managing and building multifamily and commercial projects in challenging environments. Multifamily, student housing, hospitality, senior housing, office and various forms of commercial projects are all within the Axia scope of experience. Axia is nimble and flexible as to geographic reach. We have built extensively in most areas from the Mississippi River west to the Rocky Mountains. We currently have active projects in Texas, Colorado, California, Missouri, Minnesota, and North Dakota. Our customers have come to know, respect and trust our team. As hands-on owners, we are committed to serving not only the immediate needs of our customers, but also to developing long-term, strategic relationships as the core of our business. As a developer, advisor, sponsor and investor, we bring years of experience and in-depth knowledge to the development and construction processes. As the Lead, Axia Development is responsible for development projects ranging from $1 million to $50 million. We understand how to manage projects of any size and we also understand that regardless of the size, each project is important to the overall success of our partners. From site selection, due diligence, entitlements, construction, completion, delivery, and sale, we understand the complexities and nuances of market dynamics. John Hilz Vice President, Business Development and Marketing John brings to the Axia family of companies more than 35 years of experience and knowledge of the construction, construction services, and business development industry. John is well versed in multifamily, student housing, senior housing and hospitality. John is responsible for the introduction of the Axia family of companies to the real estate and development communities in Texas, the Southwest and Southeast. John is a native Texan and holds a BS degree in both Business Administration and Science from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. He also holds a state of Texas Real Estate Broker s License. John has been on both sides as an owner and developer. Ryan Jenson Project Manager Located in Axia s Fargo office, Ryan is responsible for overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion. This includes estimating, developing project budgets and schedules, subcontractor negotiations and contracting, coordinating with on-site project superintendents, and ensuring the use of quality construction standards and proper techniques to complete projects on schedule, budget and with high quality. Ryan has experience working on multi-family and light commercial projects throughout North Dakota and Texas. He studied at North Dakota State University, where he acquired his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management with a minor in Business Administration. Page 9

EXPERIENCE Over the past twenty years our principals of Axia Companies have managed construction and development projects totaling in excess of $3.2 billion in 35 states throughout the United States. PAST PROJECTS MULTI-FAMILY Over the past five years, our principals have completed more than 4,000 multi-family residential units for a combined construction value of approximately $400,000,000. STUDENT HOUSING Since Axia s formation in 2015, our principals have undertaken and completed more than 660 units of student housing projects for a combined construction value of approximately $65,000,000. HOSPITALITY The principals at Axia have combined experience of more than 450 separate hospitality projects throughout the United States, totaling in excess of 28,000 keys and across 20 different franchise flags.
