In partnership with Forsyth County high schools, The Arts Council of Winston Salem and Forsyth County is proud to present the Student Artist of the Month. All Forsyth County high schools (private, public, and charter) that have arts programming were invited to participate in the Student Artist of the Month program. Arts educators and administrators from each school will select one student each month for recognition based on academic rigor and artistic merit. A variety of arts disciplines will be recognized over the course of the school year.

Cross Country The cross country teams will travel to Charlotte this weekend to compete at McAlpine Park. Last Saturday they ran in Greensboro where Thomas Anthony took 2nd place Field Hockey The Demons defeated East Forsyth 6 1 on Wednesday. The team has 3 matches this week as the regular season is coming towards a close. Football The JV football team remains undefeated as they beat Parkland last night 35 22. Thank you to everyone that came out to support the varsity last Friday night for Homecoming. Tonights game, RJR will sit on the visiting side as we are the away team. Golf The teams match this week was cancelled due to lightning. They will have two conference matches and a non conference one this week Soccer A up and down week for the Demons. The team defeated North Davidson on Tuesday 5 2. Thursday, a battle for 1st place with West Forsyth not only went into 2 overtimes, but had to be decided in penalty kicks. Unfortunately the Titans took the victory, but the teams will square off again in less than a month with RJR seeking revenge. Tennis The Demon netters defeated North Davidson and Bishop
Tennis The Demon netters defeated North Davidson and Bishop McGuiness this week despite the rain. The regular season wraps up next week. The last home match of the year will be Monday vs. West Forsyth. Volleyball RJR picked up two wins this week over North Forsyth and Atkins. The team is inching closer to qualifying for the playoffs.
