They will be here April 2nd April 6th, so please reach out to them and be kind. We will host a seafood boil on Monday (April 2nd) at 6:00 PM and will be providing the main entrée, but would appreciate if each of you would provide a side dish or dessert. We anticipate 70 people. Jackson Brown, Jr. Gracie Simmons and Makenna McPherson, both first year junior archers, are the first archers in the history of the Aransas Archery Project to participate in the State Finals Tournament. Both did amazingly well. Makenna shot a 245 and Gracie shot a 223 out of a possible 300. Both shot Bare Bow without any aids at all. The State Tournament has kids from all over the state and is open to archers in programs other than 4H. Aransas County April 2018 1

NATIONAL 4-H CONFERENCE Applications are now being accepted in 4-H Connect through December 15. Conference is held at the National 4-H Conference Center in DC and provides 4-H members the opportunity to assist in the development of recommendations to help guide 4-H Youth Development Programs nationally and in their communities. 2018 dates are April 7-12.
